How can hypnotherapy help me?

Hypnotherapy is the therapeutic use hypnosis. It’s another way to explore and heal relationship issues that may be holding you back from love.

Will I remember what happens during hypnotherapy?

Yes, you are completely aware of everything that is happening.

How long are your sessions?

My counseling sessions are 45-minutes. Hypnotherapy sessions are  60-minutes.

What happens during our first session?

Our first session is always a “talk” therapy session so we can get to know each other. This will give us a better idea if we are a good fit to work together. It also gives me a chance to find out what you want to get out of counseling and/or hypnotherapy.

How often will we meet for counseling?

We usually meet for counseling once a week. If you’re going through a tough time, we can meet more often. When you’re near the end of your counseling sessions, we usually meet less often.

How much counseling will I need?

At times, counseling can be brief, maybe a few months. If you want to explore how you can make real changes in yourself and your dating/relationship patterns, it usually takes longer.

If I want hypnotherapy, how many sessions will I need?

Hypnotherapy sessions can be a great addition to traditional “talk therapy.” And it usually means fewer sessions than “talk therapy” alone.

Do you take  insurance?

I want to help you reach your relationship goals. That’s why I prefer that you and I make decisions about your counseling needs, rather than a third-party, such as an insurance company. So, I am not contracted to provide counseling on behalf of any specific insurance companies.

Can I get reimbursed by my insurance company?

I’m happy to provide you with a superbill/receipt to submit with your insurance claim form. It has all the information an insurance company requires for therapists who are not directly contracted with them. We are called “out-of-network” providers.  (I’m happy to answer any questions you have. But, your insurance company can tell  you if your sessions will be covered and how much they will cover.)

Do you have a sliding scale?
